“Every day at Sweet Louise, we get to experience the 'good with the bad' of life, as one of our members puts it. Receiving another call or email from someone with a diagnosis of advanced breast cancer is always sobering, but we are all thankful we can do something to support them, thanks to the generosity of the individuals and organisations that support us.”

Christine is a very accomplished baker and owned and managed her own cafe for years. She decided to give it up last year (although she still bakes) and come and work for Sweet Louise. She says she has always known about Sweet Louise because of Louise Perkins:
“Through mutual friends, I knew of Louise and very much admired her spirit and courage. When this job came up, I thought that it would be lovely to work for an organisation inspired by the life of someone that I knew of.”
